Residents Journey

So following on from developing the Aspirations Programme, we introduced the ”Outcomes Star” as an extension of our residents’ personal development journey.

Outcome Star

The trip begins with an individual assessment where the residents score themselves on a variety of different aspects allowing them to identify the areas in their lives that need to be changed or improved upon.

Once the assessment has been completed an action plan is put into place to help residents make the necessary changes or improvements to achieve a better quality of life.

This includes:

•   Learning to take responsibility for the  actions that will help improve their lives

•   Increased motivation to care for themselves

•   Examining the desire for a meaningful life; to improve on their emotional, mental and physical states of mind

•   Involvement in social activities

•   Participation in sport or leisure activities

•   Learning how to cook and eat healthy

The Aspirations Programme is specifically designed to help residents turn their lives around.

We are proud to announce that in the last year, 97% of Anchor House residents were engaged in their own Aspiration Programme activities.
