The day had a nautical flavour as the Paralympic GB SONAR sailing team joined us to talk about their sailing exploits and to provide encouragement.
Keith Fernett, Director of Anchor House said “I was delighted that Learning and Skills Solutions had decided to use Anchor House as the venue and it was great to have all agencies including the Olympic Delivery Authority equality and inclusion team working here in the assessment process. The partners all recognised that by working together great benefits could be derived by the participants.
During the day some 60 training assessments were undertaken that could lead to careers in the construction industry.
