National Carers Week is from 14 to 20 June and to celebrate this year’s Newham Carers Network is inviting carers of all ages to an information day on Wednesday 16 June.
A carer spends a significant proportion of their life providing unpaid support to family or friends. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems.
At the event you can get free information and advice on a range of products and services from emergency support to finding work.
The event is free and will be held at East Ham Town Hall, Barking Road, London, E6 2RP from 10am – 2pm.
