On the opening day of the Games, Anchor House Director Keith Fernett congratulates the Olympics for their very successful volunteering opportunities. Anchor House has been interested in the concept of volunteering for a long time, as a meaningful way of reengaging our homeless residents back into society. However, it has become clear that there is an exploitation of homeless people, who have suffered as promises of employment opportunities have not been delivered.
